All-new Jetta offers more cabin space Volkswagen Jetta driven The all-new Volkswagen Jetta will cost from £16,960 for the entry-level S 1.4-litre TSI S, rising to £22,320 for the range-topping 2.0-litre TDI Sport with a DSG semi-automatic gearbox.

There's more space for your money, too, with an extra 67mm of rear legroom over the car it replaces. On top of this, all models now come with air-conditioning, six airbags and stability control. Engine options come from a 120bhp 1.4-litre TSI and a range-topping turbo- and supercharged 158bhp 1.4 TSI.

Diesel options are a Bluemotion-specced 104bhp 1.6 TDI that does an average of 67.3mpg and emits just 109gkm, and a 138bhp 2.0-litre TDI that averages 58.9mpg with CO2 emissions of 126g/km. The 1.6-litre TDI and the 158bhp 1.4-litre TSI unit can be specified with the option of a seven-speed DSG semi-automatic gearbox. The 2.0-litre TDI is available with a six-speed DSG transmission.
