AUDI A8 LONG-WHEELBASE ARRIVES 11 Feb 2011

Long-wheelbase versions of the Audi A8 are now available, with prices starting at £60,010 for a 247bhp 3.0-litre diesel.

The extra 130mm in length benefits rear-seat passengers who are further pampered with heated seats, an upgraded dual-zone climate control system and electrically operated rear and side window blinds.

The range-topping 493bhp 6.3-litre W12 petrol costs from £94,460 and also gets power-assisted rear doors, a pair of reclining rear seats, double glazing and finer Nappa leather upholstery. Three other engine options are available: a 345bhp 4.2-litre diesel and 3.0- and 4.2-litre petrols with 286bhp or 367bhp.
